Miss Kennedy Turned 1

Miss Kennedy Conterio turned 1

{Yes of course Tuesday night I cried like a baby. I just didn't want wednesday to come.. my little baby turning one?!! No way had it been a year!!}

It came and went and everything is okay.

Wednesday we tried to spoil her rotten. We went to music class, napped, picked up a cake made just for her, let her pick out a toy at ToysRUs and then threw her a birthday party!

This girl has brought us more joy than we could have ever imagined. Every night Jeremy and I as we are going to bed just talk about her and all the things she did that day. Then we end up going to get her and bring her to bed with us because we just cant be away from her!! She is so much fun right now we cant handle her cuteness! 

Today actually she was "reading" a book and fell over and hit her head on the wall. So I went over, picked her up and said "No No wall that was mean!" and shook my pointer finger at it. Kennedy then makes this cute little scowl face and says "NO NO" and shakes her finger it was just too cute. I am so thankful everyday for this girl and so thankful that I get to be her Mom! She is the best thing to ever happen to Jeremy and I!  

Her vocabulary is getting larger by the day. She says:

• Ball {Her favorite word, the last thing she says before bed and the first thing she says when she wakes up}
• Momma or MOM {Yelling}
• Dadda
• Yes 
• NO 
• Bye 
• Hi 
• Dog
• PA {for cousin PAX}

Her 1 year old STATS:

Head: 17.25 inches = 21% 
Weight: 18 Pounds 2 ounces= 24%
Height: 27 inches= 1% {she is back on the charts people} 

The doctor told me she is very advanced for her age. {Every Moms favorite thing to hear} 

1st Birthday

9 months.

How time flies. 

{you hear every mom say but its so true}

Our perfect Kennedy is 9 months. She has blessed are lives in so many ways. This girl makes me laugh, smile, cry, and fills my heart of joy everyday. 

Kennedy Stats:

Weight was 16lbs 3 ounces = 19th.% 
Head was in the 17th.% 
and Height... was in the .68% so she is just shy of the 1%...yikes.

{she may just be a small person we are okay with that}

Kennedy may be small but she sure can move. We actually think this is why she is such a mover. She is going to start walking any day now. She will stand and take one step but thats about all she has done. 

-Kennedy can go up a flight of stairs in under a minute.
 -Kennedy loves to climb and by loves I mean LOVES.
-Kennedy will pull herself on the couch, boxes, tables, anything that she can climb. 
-Kennedy currently says momma and ball. She sometimes sounds like she says dadda but we can't confirm that at this point. 
-Kennedy will walk across stuff while holding on.  
-She loves balls
-Kennedysleeps horrible {hence why I bought the book today Healthy Sleep Habits; Happy Child}
-Kennedy loves giving kisses. 
-Kennedy likes eating anything you are eating.
-Kennedy knows how to go down stairs backwards 
-Kennedy will put her hands upside down and say ball? it is so cute!
-Kennedy is still very sassy
-Kennedy is loved by her momma and daddy so much

Newport Beach Vacation

I realized I never blogged about Newport

{here is a little post about our fun vacation}

We went there with my family in July and had so much fun I am still depressed we aren't there anymore. 

Kennedy hated the car ride but loved the sand!

Vacation Time.

I have been going to this lovely home since I was 5.

Its on the peninsula and right next to the beach I love it here! 

This will be Jeremy and Kenney's first time here I can't wait!!!

6 Months Old

Miss Kennedy Conterio is 6 months old!!

She started life like this 

and now our little beauty is like this

STATS:

Head: 16.5 in = 41%

Weight: 14 pounds 7 ounces = 23%

Length: 24 inches = 3% hahahhaha Yes I said 3% 

She is our little midget that we just love to pieces! 

-She is started to scoot around she will be crawling so soon

{She can get though from point A to B by scooting}

-She laughs all the time

-She wakes me up by hitting my arm

-She is teething and her first tooth will be coming in any day!

-She had her first ear infection this past week

- It sounds like she says Momma but we haven't confirmed it yet

-She gets really frustrated when she can't get to something she wants

-She gets bored easy and always has to move.. or else.. she cries

-She turns over every time I change her.. ahh

-She has started sleeping in her crib for naps

-She loves Dora the Explorer 

-She has a mellow personality but can be very sassy sometimes

-She loves bath time

-She is very happy when Daddy comes home {too cute}

-One of her favorite things is going on a walk

-She loves phones and remotes 

-She can hold herself up on tables 

-She sits up

-She makes lots of funny faces

We LOVE you miss Kennedy more than you will ever know!

I was really done in December actually I was done in November before I had Kenners but I wanted to walk so now I am really done

I love all these girls! 

Perfection

This little angel has stolen my heart

I have a little separation anxiety 

{hence why she sleeps right next to me}

In the last couple days I feel like she went from an infant to a little baby! 

She seems so much older. 

-She is rolling everywhere

-Scooting around all over on the floor

-Laughs and smiles all the time

-It seems like she is understanding me sometimes

-She will reach now for us

-She is the perfect baby- in them mornings she will wake up and just lay there so it allows me  to sleep a little longer. She just talks to herself and eats her whole hand. 

-We went to the store the other day and she was so tired but she just looked around and took the new place all in. She didn't make a peep in the hour we were there. As soon as we got back in the car she was out! 

{sometimes I really think I got the easiest baby in the world!

It doesn't quite feel like I can express my love for her  

I just want to squeeze or eat her up

So just giving thousands of kisses a day and telling her I love her every 10 seconds has to do.

Kennedy's First Slide

Today we had a fun little BBQ with some friends. After we decided to walk to the park... Kennedy went down the slide for her first time.

Half Marathon

So my cute little friend Angie called me last night and said on Groupon you could sign up for the Provo Half Marathon for 30 bucks! Steal of a deal right? Well without really thinking much about it Jeremy and I signed up to run with her and some of her family. 

The only problem is.. its in a month from today!

The last time I ran a half was last year when I was pregnant with Kennedy. So Since then.. I got really big, had a baby, stopped running and have been really lazy. 

I have been running about 3 miles here and there. So today to prepare Angie and I went for a 5 mile run. Lets just say that 5 miles pushing a stroller was a little harder than I was expecting..I am now not so sure about the half marathon.

Well.. we will see how it goes in a month!
