Our sweet baby girl
We are ready for you! Anytime you want to come.. in the next second, ten seconds, 1 minute..Right now.. you decide we are ready. I am due in 5 days now but I am not sure which of those days you will decided to come or if any of those days maybe it will be sometime in the next seven after that. Grandpa Thomas's birthday is tomorrow and Grandma Harrison's birthday is Monday so they both want you to come on their birthday. Either is fine with me just come already..please.. My stomach is about to pop I really think so.. this week I found my first stretch marks.. if you wondered if I was a little upset you can only image making it to 39 weeks without any and then seeing multiple in one day. But this baby girl is all worth it every single one of those beauties. This past week was Thanksgiving.. I have so much to be thankful for.. like.. YOU! I am so excited to see you and finally hold you! I am also thankful for your Dad he still makes me feel pretty even though my face is round and every other part of my body is caring just a little extra fat :) He told me he likes my chubby toes. We have a good laugh every time we look at them. This next week we get to move and get your room all set up I am so excited! If you come before we move that is totally fine don't even worry about waiting until after. I had some cramp/contractions last night. They got to 8 minutes apart but weren't too intense. They never got closer. I had about 4 wake me up last night but then I wouldn't have another strong one for an hour or two. Today they have just kind of gone away. I thought you were coming.. but you decided to wait.. just don't wait to long. Hopefully this will be my last post about waiting.. next post can be about your arrival.

38 weeks
Not much is changing with you. You are still in the same range for length and weight. You are most likely just putting on the pounds now. You may have some hair and you are slowly shedding the white goo on your skin. We are ready for you. This past week was our shower and we got a ton of really great things for you! Then this week I just finished up the shopping to make sure we had everything. I believe we are good to go. My original due date was Tuesday November 15th so that came and went. I am about to pop so if you are willing to come we will take ya at anytime. I have been going on walks and even tried out the tramp at Grandmas but still nothing. We are very excited for your arrival! Thanksgiving is next Thursday, if you were to come before that would sure give us something to be really thankful for ;)
Today I put up the Christmas tree since we aren't sure when you are coming it is good to be prepared right? Today we came up with another name for you. We had one kind of picked out but we want to see you first. Today Grandma said one and we kind of like it. We will have to see :)

Preview Babies Room
We are moving..sorta.. the weekend our little baby girl is due..
So I have everything to do for her room but I am not able to put it together yet.
So here is a little preview of what her room will look like:
The wall her crib will sit on is the only wall that will have the pink/red-ish paint. I am copying a pottery barn room.
Her paint is not as dark but it does resemble this color. Then I will have the three picture frames just like this.
Here is her crib
Her bedding I copied from a friend Aly. I absolutely fell in love with the bedding she had but she said she had it made but she gave me the fabric name. Lucky I have family and friends that sew. So here is her quilt my amazing friend Lizzy made for me. I made the pillows and her bumper my mother is still working on but it is going to be absolutely beautiful too.
Her changing table I got from my sister-in-law and painted it white. Then the baskets I got from a broken dresser and painted those white also. I added a few touches and here it is. My mother made her changing table pad cover.
Then above the changing table is a cream wall and I am going to hand paint some flowers with the same color as the wall behind her crib. These are what they will look like. Simple but pretty.
My sister gave me her amazing rocking chair. I will have that in the corner of the room with this above it.
I still need to add some more cream into the mix |
Then to the side of the rocking chair I bought this darling wall decal
I hope you got a little idea of how her room will turn out. When it is complete I will post some pictures so you can all see.
I have some other things that will be hung and decorated with but this is just the big stuff :)

Some clothes just waiting to be worn. |
My friends for my shower got me this bassinet. I was so excited because I really wanted one! Look how cute it is!

37 weeks
Our Big Watermelon
To our little baby girl:
Today I am 37 weeks. I can't believe I am 37 weeks. I am now considered "full term" I could really have you anytime and you would most likely be okay. You measure anywhere from 18.9 to 20.9 inches and you weigh anywhere from about 6.2 pounds to 9.2 pounds. You are gaining about .5 ounces a day. You are practicing some skills like; inhaling, exhaling, sucking, dripping, and blinking. You are also getting your first sticky poop called meconium ready for you first diaper. Yay! Have you seen my ankles? Probably not, because they are now nonexistence. But now I can keep my feet up because..
This week I finished student teaching!! 55 days.. I taught full time for 40 days and was teaching at least one or more subjects for the 15 other days. It feels so good to be done but I don't know what to do with myself now. Its my first day with nothing to do and I am kind of going crazy... I have turned in my senior project so really I am pretty much done with school I have one class next week and a district meeting in a couple weeks but after that I am officially a college graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from UVU.
Tomorrow is my baby shower and I am so excited! I like can't stop thinking about it and how excited I am! I just wish it was here already. I am also getting my hair done today for the first time in forever lets just say because the real time would shock you and everyone else. This will be a good week ahead of us! I am still hoping for a early baby you are welcome anytime after tomorrow :)

36 weeks
Our sweet little girl,
I am 36 weeks pregnant! I am actually typing this on 36 weeks too! I had your dad take a picture real quick at 7 this morning so I could be prepared to do my 36 week post. Yes I am about to pop I am aware. I am also aware that I can barley breath, I should just stay in the bathroom and sleeping is a thing of the past. But... its all worth it for you! Right now you are getting closer and close to being able to breathe on your own. Your skin is getting smooth and soft. You liver and kidneys are in working order. Your circulation and immune system are basically good to go, too. This past week was Halloween. Teaching sixth grade on Halloween I learned is a very exciting thing. The kids were crazy and uncontrollable but it was a good day. Your dad came and helped with the carnival and the kids loved our costumes. We had to drive to the middle of nowhere to get a car for my brother. I felt some major cramping and thought I was going to go into labor it hurt so bad. Then the last couple days I keep getting really dizzy all of a sudden. So I went to the doctors and they put me on some iron supplements because my iron was low. It could also be the fact there isn't much room in there for you. We went to the movies last night with Jason and Angie. It may be the last time we go to the movies before you are here! I am so excited its friday. I only have 4 days left of student teaching! This was my last friday!! Wahoo! I am done next Thursday!! I have turned in my senior project and so the only thing I have to do is show up for two more classes and I am done with college! I am excited for this up coming week. I am finally getting my hair done and I have our baby shower next Saturday (so still a week away). It will be a good week!
Love you lots,
