26 weeks

Our Little Eggplant

To our baby girl! Your average size is anywhere from 13.6- 14.8 inches and your weight could be 1.5-2.5 pounds. Your eyes and eyelashes are now forming. You can call me your big mama! Everyday I am getting bigger and bigger sometimes at night I think I feel my stomach stretching. This week I started student teaching. I mostly observed this week and next week I start to take over 1 subject then the following week I take over two more and then the following I take over more and then I will be teaching full time in there. It hasn't been that bad but I just don't like waking up at 6:45 in the morning. Daddy came home this week, its very nice to have him back. Zoey (your friend) had a birthday party that we went to. We had some yummy pulled pork and treats! I felt hiccups coming from you also this week! That was pretty fun and interesting. Mckell found out she is having a girl!! So you will be having BFFs all around. Daddy had a little talk with you this week, it was so cute! He told you to be nice to me and he said he was going to be the nice parent.. we will see. Uncle Steve passed away last week and his funeral was Tuesday. It was a very sad but great funeral. We will miss him! Well keep kicking away little one. Love you lots.

25 weeks

Our Little Eggplant!

To our baby girl: One day you will read this hopefully understand this is like my pregnancy journal to you. For my pictures I try to wear the some of the same clothes so you can see the differences. I don't like to get all ready anymore because I am starting to feel a little frumpy all the time. Your average size right now is between 13.6-14.8 inches and 1.5-2.2 pounds. I am glad to know you are about 2 pounds of the 20 I have gained. I am 25 weeks now that means you should be here in 15! Wow. You are kicking every single day, every single second. Just kidding but you do kick a lot which I do like. However when I am up and moving a lot it rocks you to sleep so I don't feel you as much. You kick a lot when I am sitting or just trying to relax. This week we started in california and flew home to Utah! We worked really hard this week setting up and moving our stuff around. We also did a lot of shopping and redecorating (actually just decorating because he didn't have anything to start with) Grandpa's house. I went in Wednesday to help my student teacher set up for the school year. I start Monday student teaching and hopefully if everything goes as planned I will finish November 11th three weeks before you are due. Your dad may leave Texas tomorrow which I am very excited about so he would get here Sunday! Today is our good friend Courtney's birthday so we will give a shout out to her. Happy Birthday! Well that is a rap for this week!

Our Little Papaya

To our baby girl! You have gained about an average of 4 ounces since last week. I can't believe how fast time is going by. You will be here so soon. I have 111 days until my due date which is about 3 and half months. This week we left Dallas and came to our annual Newport Beach trip with the family (I was very sad to leave your dad behind). Everyone was able to feel you kicking me this week even your cousin Zoey who is 3. One day I said Zoey come feel my baby kick, she walked over put her hand on my tummy and said,  "I feel her I feel her", then looked at me with a confused face and said, "When did you eat a baby?" I feel like sometimes my stomach is just stretching out its kind of a strange feeling. So last week we went out to eat with everyone before we left at Cheesecake Factory, thank you vivint. Then Monday I flew into Newport. This week we went to the beach and had so much fun in the waves. Your aunt Brooke and Grandma Jeanne got a little thrown around in some big waves which now is very funny thing to look back at and laugh at. We went with the girls shopping and all got pedicures like we do every year. We went to the fun zone with everyone and got some yummy treats. I got my first "charlie horse" this week and it was the worst thing ever. My leg was sore for three days and it was very mean. Well we leave to back to Utah on Monday. We have a doctors appointment Tuesday and then I will hopefully start working with my Student teaching teacher Wednesday! We have a busy week ahead!

23 Weeks

23 weeks: Our Little Papaya

To our baby girl! I guess you are still a papaya. All babies start to vary at this point so you vary in length and weight. You are very good at kicking. I love making people feel you kick..sometimes it gets a little awkward when you kick and I am like wow she is really kicking and then they try to feel you and you stop haha I was already sleeping when your dad came to bed last night but he said he put his hand on my stomach and you were kicking really hard. Its a strange feeling to have someone kick you from inside but its a good feeling too :) Well we leave Texas Monday morning! There has been a heat wave here and its been like the worst.. ever. Its been like 110 every day plus humidity its not that great to be outside for even a second. I am ready to leave Texas. We will be joining my family in Newport Beach California! As a family we go there every year. I am sad to leave your dad behind. I wish he was coming along also. We will see him again at the end of August when he is done working out here. I have a doctors appointment when I get back I wish I got to see you again on the ultrasound thats my favorite but I don't think I get to. This next week will be fun!
